A Chinese proverb says an invisible red thread connects those destined to meet, despite the time, the place, despite the circumstances. The thread can be tightened or tangle, but never be broken.
I’ve seen this before, but I still like it.
It doesn’t mean there’s no freewill to choose. It just means that you will be where you’re supposed to be when you’re supposed to be there.
And you can’t argue that that’s not fucking beautiful.
